Grouped
Runneye, Rivervale and Nektropos castle all can be farmed for loot through named
mobs like Shakey, Blightwhip, Drina the Mess Cook, The Cerebus, Swine Lord, and the sisters of Nektropos. There are many items and chests that drop off of mobs in Rivervale that are rare enough that players would pay handsomely for on the broker.
Levels 40-50
Solo/Duo
At this level many of the instanced and access zones provide excellent
opportunities for loot and having a partner will speed things up quite often. At 50, though there is much an Inquisitor can do solo in the game for money. Many players farm Keeper of Nihility for loot/master spells and farm ?’s in Obelisk of Lost souls for enchanted bones and glowing shards. Just keep in mind on some servers these two activities are highly popular and may have overcrowding. Harclave in Splitpaw easily can run 40g to 1pp+ per run because of dropped loot and potential of Master spells. In Everfrost, I often farm the mammoths, valkyries, and polar bears for dropped sellable items and some chest loot C just be on look out for Tundra Jack and do not aggro the Tundra Terrors.
Grouped
Nektropos castle part 2.0 with a full group has a good chance at unique loot to sell to players as well as a good chance at Master spells. Permafrost and Solusek’s Eye are good places for a group to farm named and general loot. Solusek’s in particular is often empty. Miragul’s Menagerie also is a good instance for a group to farm for a chance at a metal chest. Group Arena, Hideout, Crawlers, Alone in the Dark and if you are adventurous the x2 group raid are good sources of loot as well. At 50, performing writs at the same time as farming in Everfrost and Lavastorm will allow you to gain personal status while farming.
9.1.3. Crafting
Crafting is a long-term option for making money. Typically you will not make
money until you reach the top tier of crafted gear (currently tier 5). Up until then you can break-even or make a small profit depending on your tactics. Racing through crafting
